Kodim 0707/Wonosobo initiated a joint World Cup 2026 match screening (nobar) simultaneously across various Koramil-supervised areas. This step follows the directive of the Commander of Kodim 0707/Wonosobo, Lieutenant Colonel Inf Yoyok Suyitno, S.Sos., who emphasized the importance of fostering more inclusive social communication between TNI soldiers and the public.
The Kodim Commander emphasized that this event was not merely entertainment to watch a football match, but a strategic effort to cultivate togetherness. According to him, this momentum is ideal for strengthening social ties, in line with the philosophy that the TNI comes from the people, works for the people, and is always present among the community.
The public's enthusiasm was evident across various locations chosen by the Koramil Commanders. Koramil 05/Kejajar successfully attracted the attention of local residents and hikers at the Mount Prau Basecamp, while Koramil 01/Wonosobo selected the bustling center of the Wonosobo Morning Market area. In addition to these locations, similar events were also warmly held in village halls, community security posts (pos kamling), and residential neighborhoods.
One local resident, Agus, expressed his appreciation for the initiative. He mentioned that the atmosphere of watching together was far more memorable than watching alone at home, as it allowed for direct interaction among residents as well as with serving TNI members.
