Members of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) of Jombang Regency gathered at the Jombang Police Headquarters field on Friday morning (24/7/2026) to hold a joint sports activity. This event was initiated as a concrete step to strengthen cross-agency relations and maintain the stability of public order and security (kamtibmas).
This casual yet strategic agenda was attended directly by the heads of law enforcement agencies in Jombang. Among them were the Chief of Jombang Police, AKBP Ardi Kurniawan, the Head of the District Attorney's Office, Dyah Ambarwati, the Chief of the District Court, Yunizar Kilat Daya, and the Head of the Class IIB Jombang Correctional Institution (Lapas), Rino Soleh Sumitro. The presence of these figures demonstrates a collective commitment to strengthening law enforcement in the local area.
Chief of Jombang Police, AKBP Ardi Kurniawan, expressed his appreciation for the attendance of his colleagues. He emphasized that interaction outside formal working hours is crucial to ease communication. From harmonious communication, coordination in facing various operational challenges in the field is believed to run more solidly and effectively.
According to Ardi, maintaining conduciveness in the Jombang region cannot be the responsibility of a single institution, but requires integrated collaboration. He analogized teamwork in sports as a reflection of their solidarity in carrying out law enforcement duties to provide the best service to the public.
Through this warm and friendly activity, it is hoped that the synergy between the police, prosecution, court, and correctional institutions in Jombang will continue to be maintained to ensure fair and transparent legal certainty for the public.
