PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) has taken a strategic step to diversify its business lines. Through its main subsidiary, PT Tower Bersama (TB), the telecommunication tower provider plans to enter the Internet Access Gateway Services or Network Access Point (NAP) business to strengthen the country's digital infrastructure ecosystem.

In an information disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday (16/7/2026), the management explained that PT Tower Bersama is a key business pillar contributing more than 20 percent of the company's consolidated revenue. Given its significant contribution, this business expansion step is categorized as a material transaction for the company.

So far, PT Tower Bersama's operations have focused on leasing telecommunication towers and micro cell poles to various cellular operators. The addition of this new business line with KBLI code 61107 will position the company as an internet network interconnection gateway provider, making its services more integrated and no longer fully dependent solely on the physical tower leasing business.

TBIG's management is optimistic that the presence of this NAP service will open new revenue streams amid the soaring demand for quality data and internet connectivity in Indonesia. The company's financial position is also deemed highly adequate to support the plan, backed by assets of Rp46.51 trillion and equity of Rp13.26 trillion as of the end of March 2026.

In the first quarter of 2026, the company successfully recorded revenue of Rp1.71 trillion with a net profit reaching Rp405.16 billion. However, the plan to add new business activities can only be realized after obtaining approval from shareholders in the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS) scheduled for August 24, 2026.
