The municipality of Stains in the Seine-Saint-Denis region has officially relaunched its summer holiday program titled "Souriez, c'est l'été !" or "Smile, it's summer!". This initiative is designed to provide inclusive access to entertainment for all segments of society, from children to adults, during the school holiday period running from July 13 to August 28, 2026.

The hub of these activities is Stains-Plage, a temporary recreation area offering various supporting facilities such as play areas, educational workshops, sports facilities, and relaxation zones. To enhance visitor comfort, a public swimming pool is also available at an affordable rate of 1 Euro throughout the summer.

The event will officially open on July 13 at 7:30 PM local time, coinciding with the eve of National Day. In addition to physical activities at Stains-Plage, the municipality has also partnered with Espace Paul-Éluard to present the 'Ciné Vacs' program. This series of cultural activities features over thirty film screenings, including thematic sessions and premieres, to provide a diverse cinematic experience for families.

Most of the activities in this program can be joined by the public without prior registration. Through this initiative, city authorities hope to create a warm space for social interaction while ensuring all residents have the opportunity to enjoy a high-quality and fun holiday free from financial barriers.
