Statistics Indonesia (BPS) recorded dynamics in expenditure growth within the recreation, sports, and culture sector in Kotamobagu City during June 2026. According to the latest data, this expenditure group experienced an inflation rate of 0.84% (month-to-month), a figure indicating a slowdown compared to May's growth, which reached 2.9%.
In terms of the Consumer Price Index (CPI), this group stood at 112.71 in June 2026, rising from 111.77 in the previous month. Within the regional inflation structure, the recreation, sports, and culture sector contributed 0.38% to total inflation in Kotamobagu City, placing it third among the 11 expenditure groups monitored.
Looking further back, the annual inflation rate (year-on-year) for this sector reached 9.82%. Meanwhile, calculated on a year-to-date basis from the start of 2026, public spending in Kotamobagu City for recreation and cultural needs has grown by 6.2%.
On a national scale, Kotamobagu City ranked 24th among 68 regencies/cities surveyed regarding inflation in this subsector. As a side note, these data were released amidst national general inflation conditions, which in May 2026 recorded 0.28% monthly, with an accumulated annual inflation rate of 3.34%.
