Just a few days after the launch of the refreshed (facelift) version of the Honda Fit, familiarly known as the Honda Jazz in the Japanese market, legendary official tuner Mugen officially introduced a new line of accessories. This modification package, titled "Infinite", is specially designed to enhance both the aesthetic value and performance of the compact hatchback.
Not merely beautifying the visual appearance to make it look more aggressive, Mugen also provides significant enhancements to handling performance. One of the main components offered is the Performance Damper, a chassis vibration dampening technology developed in collaboration with Yamaha, which was previously applied to the Honda Civic Type R (FK8) sports car.
The installation of this damper component is located on the lower part of the chassis to reduce micro-distortion and absorb excess vibrations during maneuvers. The application of this technology is claimed to yield more rigid and precise driving dynamics without sacrificing daily ride comfort.
For sporty-themed variants like the Fit RS, Mugen provides exterior cosmetics including a bright red front splitter, a deep black front grille, and side body decal graphics. At the rear, a black diffuser with red accents is paired with a chrome sports silencer exhaust system to produce a deeper, sportier engine sound.
Complementing the exterior changes, the wheel and suspension setup is now equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels paired with custom lug nuts. Meanwhile, inside the cabin, the racing aura is reinforced by premium floor mats featuring the Mugen logo and carbon fiber scuff plates to protect the door sills.
