Another proud achievement has been recorded by an Indonesian wushu athlete on the international stage. Seraf Naro Siregar successfully presented a gold medal for his homeland after an impressive performance at the IWUF 4th Taolu World Cup 2026 held in Haikou, China.
Seraf secured top spot on the podium in the men's Daoshu event after scoring the highest points of 9.786. This achievement also underlines his consistency and proficient technical skills when facing tough competitors from various countries at the world level.
Competition in the final round was extremely fierce with a very thin margin between participants. Singapore's representative, Lim Jowen Si Wei, had to settle for second place with a score of 9.760 points, while neutral athlete Kirill-zui Bondarenko took third place close behind with 9.753 points.
This brilliant result is clear proof that Indonesian wushu athletes possess high competitiveness on the global stage. Seraf's victory also adds to the medal tally for the Red and White contingent in a championship that stands as one of the prestigious benchmarks for world wushu practitioners.
