PT Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMMAN), one of the copper and gold mining giants in Indonesia, has declared its commitment to the success of the XII West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Sports Week (PORPROV) to be held in 2026. This support is designed integratively, focusing not only on the sports competition arena but also serving as a driving force for culture and the revival of the local creative economy.

AMMAN's Vice President of Policy, Permitting, and Social Impact, Priyo Pramono, explained that the company's active participation in this quadrennial sports event is an integral part of its social responsibility program. He emphasized that PORPROV XII NTB 2026 is a crucial momentum to unite the spirit of sporting achievement, cross-sector collaboration, and the strengthening of regional local identity.

Interestingly, the company's contribution is not limited to logistical and financial support. A number of AMMAN employees are confirmed to compete directly as athletes representing the region in various achievement sports, ranging from golf, archery, boxing, aerosports, to swimming. The participation of these workers is clear proof of the company's commitment to promoting a balance between work professionalism and a healthy, high-achieving lifestyle.

This strategic step also runs in harmony with the Community Development and Empowerment (PPM) Program promoted by AMMAN. Through the 'Sports for Development' pillar, AMMAN consistently fosters young talent and improves the quality of referees and coaches in West Sumbawa. On the economic side, the company focuses on empowering local MSMEs and preserving traditional weaving arts to create a sustainable ecosystem of community independence.

As a prestigious multi-sport event under the auspices of the National Sports Committee of Indonesia (KONI) NTB, PORPROV XII also serves as an important stepping stone. This competition is projected to be the main selection platform and a mental conditioning ground for NTB athletes before competing at the national level in the XXII Nusa Tenggara PON in 2028.
