The GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026 became the stage for Omoda & Jaecoo to showcase their latest smart driving innovations. The automotive manufacturer officially introduced the Super Intelligent Valet Parking (SIVP) technology embedded in the premium SUV model, Jaecoo J7 SHS-P SIVP. This step was taken as part of efforts to provide smart driving solutions to address the challenges of modern urban mobility.
Traffic congestion and limited parking spaces in major cities often make driving exhausting. Through the "Come to You, Park for You" concept, SIVP is here to provide convenience for drivers. This feature offers two main functions: smart parking to search for a parking spot independently, and smart summon which allows the car to pick up the driver automatically after activities.
The autonomous capabilities of the Jaecoo J7 SHS-P SIVP are supported by an advanced scanning system consisting of 27 high-precision sensors. The sensor network includes 3 millimeter-wave radars, 11 cameras with an all-around view, 12 ultrasonic radars, and 1 long-range DToF LiDAR sensor. All captured environmental data is processed by the Intelligent Driving Domain Controller to generate a 360-degree visualization with no blind spots, ensuring safe parking maneuvers.
Jaecoo plans to start implementing this SIVP technology in Indonesia in two phases. The first phase will begin in October 2026 in 40 urban locations, followed by the second phase at the end of 2026 which will expand its coverage to more than 60 strategic points, including shopping centers and office areas. Alongside the launch of this technology at GIIAS 2026, orders for the Jaecoo J7 SHS-P SIVP unit have also officially opened for Indonesian consumers.
