A joint team consisting of the Padang City Public Order Agency (Satpol PP), the TNI Military Police (PM), and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) conducted a law enforcement operation at several nightlife venues in Padang City on Saturday (26/7/2026) night. In the enforcement operation, officers secured nine visitors for allegedly violating local regulations.

The nine individuals caught in the raid consisted of five women and four men. They were immediately taken to the Padang City Satpol PP Headquarters to undergo data recording and deeper investigation by Civil Servant Investigators (PPNS).

The Head of the Padang City Satpol PP, Chandra Eka Putra, explained that this operation focused on checking visitors' identities and monitoring the compliance of business owners. This step was taken to ensure compliance with Padang City Local Regulation Number 1 of 2025 concerning Public Peace and Order.

Chandra added that this inter-agency collaboration is part of preventive efforts to maintain environmental security. Satpol PP is committed to continuing to carry out similar operations periodically and urges the public to always carry identification documents when traveling.
