The Information Technology Study Program at Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) proactively organized a Program Analyst certification briefing workshop for final-semester students on Wednesday (7/1/2026). Held online, this event represents a strategic collaboration with the Professional Certification Institute (LSP BSI) to ensure graduates possess high competitiveness in the technology industry.
Head of the Information Technology Study Program at BSI University, Hendra Supendar, emphasized in his opening remarks that competency certification is a crucial asset for students. According to him, an academic degree needs to be accompanied by professional recognition so that graduates can be more easily absorbed into a job market that increasingly demands specialized skills.
Serving as the keynote speaker, Program Analyst Assessor Sri Muryani explained that the workshop materials were designed in alignment with the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI). A total of 10 competency units under the Program Analyst scheme were discussed in depth to ensure students gain a comprehensive understanding of the examination material.
Sri added that this certification serves as a benchmark for professional capability among prospective job seekers. By acquiring this certificate, graduates are expected to gain higher self-confidence and broader career opportunities as system analyst or program analyst professionals in various leading companies.
Through this initiative, UBSI reinforces its commitment as a creative digital campus oriented toward industry needs. It is hoped that graduates will not only excel in theory but also possess nationally accredited practical competencies to face future digital transformation challenges.
