Staff of the Religious Affairs Office (KUA) of Curup Tengah, Rejang Lebong Regency, underwent free eye health examinations for the early detection of visual impairments. The activity, which took place on Monday (13/07), was initiated through a collaboration with the Optik Bersama medical team to support the work productivity of local civil servants (ASN).
All staff and civil servants at KUA Curup Tengah enthusiastically participated in the series of examinations. The vision health assessment included visual acuity tests, detection of refractive errors such as nearsightedness and astigmatism, and private eye health consultation sessions.
Head of KUA Curup Tengah, H. Bulkis, expressed high appreciation for the care shown by Optik Bersama. He emphasized that prime vision function is crucial in the digital era, given that most public service tasks currently require intensive interaction with computer screens.
Meanwhile, the representative team from Optik Bersama highlighted the importance of regular eye exams, especially for office workers who spend long hours in front of devices. In addition to the examinations, employees were also provided with education on eye health preservation methods, such as ideal viewing distances and screen break routines.
