The Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee has officially announced the restructuring of the regional cadre education institution through Decision No. 381-QD/TU. This policy marks the renaming of the Nguyen Van Cu Cadre Training School to the Vu Van Hieu Political School, which now operates under the direct supervision of the Provincial Party Committee in accordance with the latest standards from the Secretariat of the Central Committee.
This organizational restructuring includes streamlining departments into five main faculties. In line with this efficiency, all functions, assets, and personnel previously under the Center for Foreign Languages and Human Resource Development at the Bai Chay campus have now been transferred to Ha Long University. This step aims to center the school's focus on managerial and theoretical development for civil servants at the local level.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Quan Minh Cuong, emphasized that naming the institution after Vu Van Hieu is not merely symbolic, but a form of respect for the dedication of the senior leader who possessed high revolutionary integrity. The hope is that cadres educated here can internalize the spirit of devotion and political acumen inherited from him.
In his directives, the Party Secretary stressed the urgency of improving the quality of teaching staff by strengthening scientific research and a deep understanding of political theory. In addition, the school is instructed to immediately adopt digital transformation and the utilization of artificial intelligence in the learning system to realize a “smart political school” model relevant to the dynamics of the new era.
Furthermore, the institution is expected to become a solid ideological fortress in countering deviant views while strengthening public trust in the government. With a curriculum approach that dynamically integrates theory and practice, the school is projected to produce high-quality cadres ready to advance development in Quang Ninh Province.
