Students of Field Learning Practice (PBL) III from the Faculty of Public Health (FKM), Hasanuddin University, assigned to Post 22, officially concluded their community service period in Labokong Village, Donri-Donri District, Soppeng Regency, on Monday (6/7). This final seminar served as a platform for students to present the outcomes of health interventions conducted in the area.
Filda Winandar, Coordinator of Post 22, stated that her team successfully completed six strategic programs designed for various age groups. These programs included demonstrations of herbal drink processing, "happy plate" education, the SIGAP sugar movement, the SEHATI water campaign, and stunting prevention actions through the SIAGA and GESIT initiatives.
On this occasion, the students presented program achievement data to village officials as part of academic accountability. In addition to presenting results, this event served as a medium for students to strengthen the commitment of the village government and local residents to maintaining a healthy lifestyle after the activity ends.
Head of UPT Puskesmas Tajuncu, Emmy Hamrawati Haking SKM MM, expressed high appreciation for the students' dedication. She emphasized that the approach taken by the students was highly relevant to the real needs of the community in the field, enabling them to serve as strategic partners for the Puskesmas (Community Health Center) in monitoring and improving the health status of village residents.
As a conclusion to the series of activities, a joint follow-up plan was signed with the village government. This concrete step is expected to serve as a bridge for the residents of Labokong Village to continue practicing a healthy lifestyle to support the achievement of sustainable development goals in the health sector.
