ASUS Indonesia has officially introduced the ExpertBook P5 G2 (AMD), a next-generation business laptop designed specifically to meet the needs of highly mobile (hybrid) workers and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This device arrives as an answer to the growing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) integration to boost productivity in today's increasingly dynamic modern workplace.

Commercial Director of ASUS Indonesia, Eric Khoven, revealed that today's flexible working patterns demand supporting devices that are not only powerful but also possess robust security. Through this latest ExpertBook lineup, ASUS is committed to delivering a balance between cutting-edge computing performance, high mobility, and world-class data protection.

The laptop's engine is powered by the latest AMD Ryzen AI processor. For the Indonesian market, ASUS offers the AMD Ryzen AI 7 445 processor option, which has an AI processing capability of up to 50 TOPS. Its computing performance is backed by DDR5 RAM memory that can be upgraded up to 64 GB and dual SSD PCIe 4.0 storage capacity of up to 3 TB. To keep temperatures stable when handling heavy workloads, ASUS has integrated an advanced cooling system called ExpertCool.

To simplify daily tasks, the ExpertBook P5 G2 is equipped with artificial intelligence features through the ASUS MyExpert platform, such as a text writing assistant, automatic meeting summarizer, AI noise-canceling, and an AI camera that optimizes lighting. The 14-inch laptop is also certified as a Windows Copilot+ PC and is available in either a 2.5K 144Hz IPS panel or a WUXGA OLED panel.

In terms of durability, this lightweight laptop, starting at 1.27 kilograms, has earned the MIL-STD-810H military standard certification. Its battery life is claimed to support office productivity for up to 22.5 hours. Furthermore, data security is a priority through the ExpertGuardian feature, which includes Windows 11 Secured-core PC, NIST military-standard BIOS, a fingerprint sensor, and a physical webcam shield.

In the domestic market, the ASUS ExpertBook P5 G2 is offered starting at IDR 19,799,000 for the PM5406CKA variant and IDR 21,599,000 for the PM5406CGA variant.
