Member of the Depok City Regional Representative Council (DPRD) from the National Mandate Party (PAN) faction, Deny Kartika, showed his closeness to the community through sports. The legislator attended and directly competed in the PB Generasi Baya 03 badminton tournament held in the RW 01 area, Pengasinan Sub-district, Sawangan District, Depok City, on Tuesday (21/7/2026) evening.
Deny's presence on the court was not merely a formal ceremonial visit. He mingled with the residents and played to enliven the local competition. This step is seen as a positive effort to build warmer informal communication between the representative and his constituents.
On this occasion, Deny emphasized that his participation in the tournament was purely based on his personal love for the sport of badminton. He dismissed suggestions that his presence on the court was related to any practical political agenda or an attempt to win the sympathy and votes of the local community.
