Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) solution provider, Hexnode, has officially expanded its market reach in Indonesia by appointing Ingram Micro Indonesia as its official distributor. Through this strategic collaboration, Hexnode targets a collective transaction value of up to US$ 10 million, driven by corporations' urgent need to secure work devices from growing cyber threats.
Enterprise Sales Director ASEAN of Hexnode, Keith O'Leary, revealed that rapid digital economic growth makes Indonesia a priority market in Southeast Asia. Hybrid work trends and bring-your-own-device (BYOD) policies increasingly demand robust data security systems to separate sensitive corporate data from employees' personal data without disrupting productivity.
The partnership with Ingram Micro was chosen due to its global reputation and extensive network of system integrators and managed service providers in the country. The Hexnode UEM platform itself offers centralized control compatible with various major operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, Android, and iOS. This solution is also equipped with compliance features for the Personal Data Protection Act (UU PDP), which has now become a crucial standard in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, President Director of Ingram Micro Indonesia, Mulia Dewi Karnadi, emphasized that digital protection must now cover the entire information technology ecosystem, including Internet of Things (IoT) devices such as smartwatches connected to office networks. Hexnode's ability to manage more than nine operating systems in a single platform is considered an efficient solution for the complexity of modern corporate IT infrastructure.
This expansion step also responds to the increasingly critical urgency of national cybersecurity. The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) recorded a surge in cyber incidents to 5.5 billion throughout 2025, up 714 percent compared to the average of the previous four years, followed by 1.52 billion threats in early 2026. Through this synergy, both companies are committed to helping local industrial sectors adopt digital transformation safely and efficiently.
