The Faculty of Health Sciences at Universitas Muhammadiyah Luwuk (Unismuh Luwuk) has officially started the interview and medical examination selection phase for prospective new students of the Bachelor of Nutrition Study Program. This rigorous selection process is conducted to screen prospective students who have strong academic readiness and excellent physical conditions to support their studies.
All participants who passed the administrative document selection took part in this series of tests in an orderly manner. In the interview sessions, the examiners explored the participants' motivation for choosing the nutrition study program, their understanding of the nutritionist profession, and their academic commitment. On the other hand, the health examinations were conducted to ensure that the physical condition of the prospective students aligns with the professional standards in the health sector.
The Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at Unismuh Luwuk, Sulasmi Anggo, S.Farm., M.Kes., explained that this stage is crucial for mapping the potential, character, and mental readiness of prospective students before they enter the academic world of nutrition.
"We want to ensure that those selected are not only interested but also have social sensitivity towards public health issues. We hope to produce a generation of nutritionists who are not only scientifically reliable but also possess integrity based on Islamic values," said Sulasmi.
The presence of the Bachelor of Nutrition Study Program at Unismuh Luwuk is a tangible manifestation of the university's contribution to improving the quality of human resources in the regional and national health sectors. Combining a relevant curriculum with the cultivation of Al-Islam and Kemuhammadiyah values, this study program is committed to producing graduates who are excellent and highly competitive.
