These complexes are designed deep inside the earth to protect Iran's military assets and nuclear infrastructure from potential external airstrikes.
Various international defense analysts assess that the defense construction at Pickaxe Mountain is extremely solid. Its extreme depth makes the facility predicted to be difficult to penetrate, even by the US military's most advanced bunker buster bombs (*bunker buster*). Nevertheless, Washington insists it will deploy full force to quell the potential nuclear threat.
In addition to the threat of airstrikes, Trump also hinted at tightening the blockade on Iranian shipping activities in the Gulf.
