The business performance of PT Pegadaian (Persero) Regional Office III Southern Sumatra (Sumbagsel) showed a positive trend throughout the first semester of 2026. This achievement aligns with the company's brilliant performance at the national level, which recorded a net profit of Rp6.59 trillion, a significant growth of 84.4 percent compared to the same period last year.

Nationally, the financial strength of this state-owned enterprise was supported by a surge in total assets to Rp186.33 trillion, an increase of 53.9 percent year-on-year. Financing quality also showed a healthy improvement, with the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio decreasing from 0.81 percent to 0.71 percent in the first half of this year.

At the regional level, Pegadaian Regional Office III Sumbagsel recorded a Gross Outstanding Loan (OSL) realization of Rp7.65 trillion as of June 2026, growing by 66 percent compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, gold installment financing soared sharply by 170.6 percent year-on-year, reaching Rp1.00 trillion.

Public interest in investment in the Sumbagsel region also continues to rise. This is reflected in the Gold Savings balance, which broke through 987,706 grams, a growth of 46.35 percent. This growth was accompanied by an increase in active customers to 295,366 people, up by 72.25 percent compared to the first semester of last year.

The Regional Head of PT Pegadaian Regional Office III Sumbagsel, Novryandi, stated that this achievement reflects the growing public trust in Pegadaian as a financial partner.
