PT Asuransi BRI Life has officially established a strategic partnership with Bali International Hospital (BIH) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration is designed to expand and facilitate access to high-quality medical services for the life insurance policyholders.
The signing of the cooperation document was attended directly by BRI Consumer Banking Director, Aris Hartanto, as well as the board of commissioners and directors of BRI Life. Representing BIH were President Director and CEO Dr. Noel Yeo along with the hospital management. This synergy is expected to provide financial security and peace of mind for customers undergoing medical treatment.
BRI Life's Chief Operating Officer, Andrew Bain, explained that this collaboration includes the provision of an integrated referral system, cashless payment facilities, medical utilization management, and quality assurance of services. This partnership program is part of the company's managed care strategy to optimize efficiency without compromising the medical care standards of its customers.
The selection of BIH as a strategic partner is based on its crucial position in Eastern Indonesia. Located in the Sanur Health Special Economic Zone (SEZ), Denpasar, the hospital serves approximately 36,719 BRI Life customers across Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Sulawesi, and Papua. Supported by 255 beds, modern surgical facilities, and partnerships with global medical institutions, BIH is poised to become the primary referral center in the region.
BRI Life's internal data recorded a 56 percent increase in customer claims at BIH, with the value of claims surging by 344 percent up to the year 2026. Dr. Noel Yeo added that this collaboration aligns with BIH's mission to present a sustainable health ecosystem that is fully oriented toward the comfort and safety of patients from all walks of life.
