LEBAK – Personnel of the Cimarga Sector Police (Polsek) of the Lebak Regency Police (Polres) provided tight security during a folk entertainment event held at the Cilaki Football Field, Margajaya Village, Cimarga District, Lebak Regency, on Saturday (7/25/2026). This measure was taken to ensure that the community event runs safely, orderly, and in a conducive manner.
The event, themed as a community gathering, featured various festivities ranging from local product exhibitions, bazaars, interactive games with prizes, to a guest star performance by singer Baby Shima. Given the high enthusiasm of the residents crowding the venue, the presence of police officers was considered crucial to anticipate potential security disturbances.
Lebak Regency Police Chief, AKBP Herfio Zaki, through Cimarga Sector Police Chief, AKP Pipih Iwan Hermansyah, emphasized that this security operation is a tangible manifestation of excellent police service. The presence of the police in the crowd is expected to provide a direct sense of security to the public enjoying the entertainment.
Furthermore, AKP Pipih added that this activity also serves as an important momentum for the police to strengthen emotional ties with local residents. Through a humanistic approach during their duties, it is hoped that the synergy between the police and the community as security partners can be well-maintained in the Cimarga jurisdiction.
