The Jember Regency Government, through the Infrastructure and Spatial Planning Task Force (Satgas ITR), moved quickly to conduct strict supervision in the Mount Sadeng mining area. This enforcement measure was taken to ensure all business entities in the area comply with applicable regulations, particularly regarding operational legality and fiscal obligations.

During the field operation, which also involved the Jember Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), a joint team investigated the administrative compliance of mine operators. The main focus of the inspection included the validity of active business permits and the status of local tax payments, which are crucial contributors to regional original revenue.

The ITR Task Force emphasized that firm action will be taken against companies proven to ignore regulations, ranging from administrative sanctions to temporary suspension of operations. This effort represents a concrete step by the local government to order mining governance while preventing potential tax revenue leaks in the Mount Sadeng region.
