Marcel Radhival, popularly known as the Red Magician, has once again captured public attention through his exploration of the Mount Kawi area in East Java. The location, long steeped in mystical narratives and wealth-seeking ritual practices, was visited by Marcel to test the truth behind various taboos widely circulated among the public.
During his visit, conducted alone at night, Marcel consciously challenged various customary norms believed by visitors. He deliberately ignored prohibitions against complaining and refused to ask permission from supernatural entities while crossing the forest area, arguing that the place is a human domain.
"I will not perform any permission rituals because this is the human world. If anyone else feels disturbed, they are the ones who should get out of the way," Marcel asserted during his exploration, which he uploaded to his personal YouTube channel.
Throughout the journey, Marcel even openly voiced physical complaints, an act said to be taboo among pilgrims. However, until the end of his expedition, he claimed he did not encounter any supernatural activity, offerings, or any negative impacts long feared by many.
Through this experiment, Marcel concluded that mystical phenomena at the site are often merely constructs of belief unproven empirically. His action reaffirms his consistent stance in debunking practices he considers based on superstition without a strong logical foundation.
