The Regency Government of South Central Timor (TTS), East Nusa Tenggara, continues to demonstrate a concrete commitment to expanding the reach of healthcare services to remote areas. This step was realized by handing over three new ambulance units to three villages to facilitate medical referral access for the local community.
The handover of these emergency medical fleets took place in Boti Village, Kie District. The three areas receiving the health operational vehicles are Boti Village, Nailiu Village, and Oenai Village.
With the presence of these medical transportation facilities, the local government hopes that the geographical obstacles often faced by residents in remote areas when requiring emergency care can be immediately resolved. These village ambulances are expected to speed up the patient evacuation process to the nearest referral healthcare centers safely and quickly.
