The Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) has officially adopted the 2025–2029 Information Technology Strategic Plan (RSTI). The document, prepared through strategic collaboration with the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), was handed over directly in Cibubur on Wednesday (7/8/2026), marking a concrete step toward accelerating institutional transformation in the digital era.

The formulation of this technology roadmap is BP Tapera's strategic response to recent regulatory dynamics, particularly following Constitutional Court Decision Number 96/PUU-XXII/2024, which changed membership status from mandatory to voluntary. This fundamental shift in the business model demands an information system that is more modular, adaptive, and responsive to participant needs.

Utilizing the TOGAF ADM framework, BP Tapera will integrate four main architectural layers: business, data, application, and infrastructure. One of the significant breakthroughs in this blueprint is the implementation of an Enterprise Data Platform that consolidates 23 fragmented databases into a more efficient system, as well as the utilization of artificial intelligence (AI) for credit scoring for low-income communities.

On the service side, the rumah.go.id platform will serve as the primary access hub for participants. BP Tapera is also strengthening data resilience through an Active-Active Data Center scheme and implementing Zero-Trust Architecture cybersecurity standards to ensure personal data protection in line with applicable laws.

The implementation of this RSTI will be carried out in three phases through 2029. The main focus is to facilitate access to housing financing services while improving operational efficiency. With technical support from ITB, BP Tapera aims to become a transparent and accountable housing fund management institution that delivers broad economic impacts for the wider public.
