The city of Da Nang is currently preparing to enter a more aggressive phase of economic acceleration by strengthening the role of the private sector. Through the implementation of Resolution No. 68/NQ-TW and various other derivative regulations, the central government is committed to creating a more conducive investment climate by simplifying administrative procedures and providing more dynamic fiscal policy support.

Institutional reforms ranging from tax laws to ease of doing business serve as the main foundation for economic growth in the region. The government has also launched various priority programs, including high-level executive training and incubation for thousands of startups, to ensure the private sector possesses strong managerial and innovation capacities to compete nationally and internationally.

At the local level, the presence of the Da Nang International Financial Center and Free Trade Zone acts as a new driver for business actors. Economic experts emphasize that businesses in Da Nang must now dare to undergo fundamental transformation, shifting from traditional operational patterns toward technology-based business models, efficient logistics, and the implementation of sustainability principles or twin transformation: digital and green.

Despite high optimism driven by a 21.4% increase in business entities in the first half of 2026, challenges on the ground remain. Therefore, synergy between the city government, banking sector, and industry is crucial in facilitating access to credit, research and development (R&D), and human resources strengthening to ensure the target average economic growth of 15% for the private sector can be achieved.
