Based on monitoring data from the Observation Post in Pasauran, Serang Regency, the volcano's volcanic activity has shown a significant increase in the past ten days.
Official records show at least 18 eruption events were detected in the period from July 2 to 11, 2026. The intensity of this activity forms the basis for relevant authorities to maintain Mount Anak Krakatau's status at Level III or Alert.
Field personnel continue to conduct intensive observations through sensor devices and visual monitoring on screens to anticipate changes in the volcano's activity at any time. The public and tourists are urged to strictly adhere to the safety radius set by authorities to avoid risks arising from eruption activity.
