The tourist area of Canggu and Batu Bolong Beach in Badung Regency, Bali, received extra security from the local police force in the early hours of the morning. This step was taken to ensure that the security situation remains conducive amidst the bustling nightlife activities of tourists.

The operation, known as the Blue Light Patrol, targets vital areas along the Canggu tourist route. Starting their sweep around 02:00 WITA (Central Indonesia Time), personnel from the Turjawali Unit of the Badung Police's Samapta Unit focused their surveillance on preventing street crime, thuggery, and theft.

Head of the Badung Police's Samapta Unit, AKP Made Mangku Bunciana, emphasized that the police presence on the ground aims to provide a direct sense of security for both the local community and foreign tourists on vacation. The patrol is carried out in a humane manner through intensive monitoring at crime-prone locations.

In addition to maintaining physical security, police officers also engaged in dialogues with business owners and visitors to collaboratively maintain order. The public is urged to remain vigilant about their valuables and to immediately use the police emergency services line 110 if they encounter anything suspicious.
