The business laptop market in Indonesia has welcomed a new lineup after ASUS officially launched the ExpertBook P5 G2 PM5406. Specially designed to meet the needs of modern professionals and business owners, this portable device offers a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) efficiency, multi-layered security systems, and high mobility.

The laptop's engine is powered by an AMD Ryzen AI Series processor featuring an NPU of up to 55 TOPS, a specification optimized for processing various AI tasks locally and rapidly. To support this performance, ASUS includes RAM options of up to 64 GB and an SSD storage capacity of up to 3 TB via dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots. Device temperatures are kept stable by the ExpertCool cooling system, which minimizes heat while dampening fan noise during heavy workloads.

Commercial Director of ASUS Indonesia, Eric Khoven, explained at the launch event in Jakarta that the presence of the ExpertBook P5 G2 is intended to provide a computing solution that is not only powerful, but also robust and secure. His team is committed to presenting devices that deliver a tangible impact on the daily productivity of business leaders and professionals in the country.

In terms of functionality, this laptop integrates the ASUS MyExpert platform, which features smart tools such as AI-powered noise cancellation, automatic meeting minutes summarization, and Windows Copilot+ PC support for real-time translation. Users are also presented with high-quality 14-inch display options, either a 2.5K resolution IPS panel with a 144Hz refresh rate or a WUXGA OLED panel option with a 100 percent DCI-P3 color standard for more accurate visuals.

Supporting outdoor activities, the laptop, which weighs starting from 1.27 kilograms, holds the MIL-STD-810H military certification. Its operational endurance is backed by a 70Wh battery claimed to last up to 22.5 hours of standard office use, complete with Wi-Fi 7 connectivity. User data security is also guaranteed through TPM 2.0, a fingerprint scanner, a physical webcam shield, and a guarantee of regular firmware updates for up to five years.

ASUS is marketing the ExpertBook P5 G2 in the Indonesian market in two main price variants. The PM5406CKA model is offered starting at IDR 19,799,000, while the higher-spec variant, the PM5406CGA, is sold for IDR 21,599,000.
