Actor Sandy Tumiwa is now entering a new chapter in his life, stepping away from the entertainment spotlight to delve into his role as special staff at the Cirebon Sultanate. This appointment was made directly by the Sultan Sepuh of Cirebon, Prince Kuda Putih, who saw that Sandy has a deep concern for preserving the history and culture of the Archipelago.

Sandy explained that his interest in culture began when he converted to Islam in 2014. That spiritual journey took him across various parts of Indonesia, from Java to eastern Indonesia, to study historical values and the development of Islam in the country under the guidance of scholars and local elders.

For him, Indonesia's cultural wealth is not merely an aesthetic symbol, but a social ecosystem with great potential to drive local economies. Through his new position, he envisions strengthening the synergy between customary institutions and the central government to create a harmony that positively impacts the wider community.

Currently, Sandy emphasizes his commitment to devoting his full energy to these duties. One of the strategic missions currently being designed is building communication with the government so that the Cirebon Sultanate can serve as a role model for the development of other customary institutions in Indonesia.
