The Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Demak Regency held a webinar titled 'Ngobras Kental' 11th edition on Wednesday (8/7/2026). This activity aims to equip State Civil Apparatus (ASN) with practical strategies to achieve a balance between work demands and personal life, popularly known as work-life balance.

Amid the complex dynamics of professional demands and technological challenges requiring continuous connectivity, the risk of exhaustion or burnout is a real threat to civil servants. Nur Chasanah, a Senior Human Resources Assessor for Apparatus serving as the main speaker, emphasized that life balance is not merely measured by office departure hours, but rather by an individual's ability to wisely manage priorities, energy, time, and emotions.

According to her, there are four crucial pillars that must be maintained to ensure life harmony: career achievement, family closeness, physical-mental health, and personal development. By maintaining these four elements, civil servants are expected to perform their dual roles optimally without sacrificing their quality of life outside working hours.

On that occasion, the Fisher Model was also presented, highlighting the close link between work and personal life dimensions. This discussion underscored that a supportive work environment and a harmonious personal life reinforce each other, where happiness at home can drive higher innovation and productivity within government agency environments.
