A village head in the Tomoni area, East Luwu Regency, is facing police questioning after allegedly committing assault against his business partner. The incident, which caused physical injury to the victim, is currently under intensive investigation by the Mangkutana Sector Police.

Head of Criminal Investigation at East Luwu Police, AKP Jody Dharma, confirmed that the assault occurred at a barbershop located on Trans Sulawesi Street, Mandiri Village, on Saturday (11/7) afternoon. As a result of the assault, the victim sustained an open wound on his left temple requiring two stitches.

According to preliminary police reports, the dispute was sparked by the village head's dissatisfaction with the victim's performance in managing a barbershop business they run together. The perpetrator allegedly lost his temper, believing the victim was not fulfilling his business responsibilities effectively.

Police are continuing to investigate the case. The reported party is currently undergoing examination at the Mangkutana Sector Police to provide detailed clarification regarding the timeline and motive behind the violent act.
