The Gunungsitoli City Education Office officially hosted an intensive training program on learning digitalization for Early Childhood Education (PAUD) educators. The three-day program, running from June 29 to July 1, 2026, aims to strengthen teachers' competencies in utilizing technological tools to create a more dynamic and interactive learning environment.
During the training session held at the Gunungsitoli City Education Office Hall, participants gained practical understanding on utilizing digital media in the teaching and learning process. The initiative received a warm response from dozens of attending teachers, given the importance of adapting to modern developments to improve the quality of early childhood education.
Rido Favorit Saronitehe Waruwu, a speaker at the event, emphasized that limited equipment should not hinder innovation. He encouraged teachers to maximize the potential of simple devices they already own as creative educational media, without having to rely on expensive infrastructure.
Furthermore, Rido highlighted the strategic position of teachers amidst the digital surge. According to him, no matter how advanced digital technology becomes, the central role of educators in shaping character, instilling moral values, and building emotional bonds with students can never be replaced by machines.
"Technology is merely a tool, while teachers are the main drivers of the educational ecosystem. We invite teachers to embrace technology as a partner in designing effective learning without losing the human touch in educating," Rido emphasized.
