The need for smarter and more efficient electricity management is now a primary public concern amid rising energy consumption and electric vehicle trends. Challenges in power supply stability are driving the industry to continuously innovate to deliver environmentally friendly yet reliable technological solutions.
This trend was clearly visible at the IndoBuildTech 2026 exhibition, held at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City from July 8 to 12, 2026. During the event, the main focus of industry players was on the development of inverter systems, electric vehicle charging devices, and integrated energy storage technologies.
PT Belomi Integrasi Sistem, one of the exhibition participants, introduced renewable energy solutions through products from Deye and Suntree. The highlighted innovation was the Deye Micro Hybrid Energy Storage System (ESS), a compact device that combines an inverter with a power backup system to optimize electricity usage efficiency.
This energy storage system allows users to store electricity that can be used when needed, both as a backup during supply disruptions and as a power source in locations not yet reached by the PLN grid. The 2,500-watt capacity device is equipped with an interactive LCD screen to facilitate direct performance monitoring by the user.
Flexibility is a key value-add of this technology, where batteries can be recharged using solar panels or the PLN power grid. This innovation is seen as a crucial step to ensure stable energy availability and support the transition toward more massive use of renewable energy in the future.
