The Chairwoman of the Regional National Handicraft Council (Dekranasda) of Gunung Mas Regency, Mimie Mariatie Jaya S. Monong, took part in the main celebration of the 46th anniversary of the National Handicraft Council (Dekranas) held in Makassar, South Sulawesi. This national-scale meeting served as a strategic platform for Dekranasda leadership from across Indonesia to exchange ideas while strengthening synergy in advancing the nation's creative industry ecosystem.

Carrying the main theme “Collaboration Advances Craft Industries and MSMEs”, the event emphasized the importance of integration among the government, artisans, academics, and the private sector. This cross-stakeholder synergy is considered crucial to boosting the competitiveness of local craft products so they meet quality standards capable of penetrating national and global markets.

During the series of events centered at Trans Studio Mall (TSM) Makassar, Mimie Mariatie Jaya S. Monong stated that her side's participation was a concrete step toward broadening horizons and building partnership networks. According to her, innovation and collaboration are two key elements that must continue to be honed so that Gunung Mas' signature products can compete in an increasingly dynamic market.

Furthermore, Mimie reaffirmed Gunung Mas Dekranasda's commitment to providing intensive mentoring for local MSME actors.
