The Batu City Government is fully committed to supporting the development of the sport tourism sector through the SCR Kids Pushbike Series 2 in 2026. This support was expressed directly by the Deputy Mayor of Batu, Heli Suyanto, during an audience with the organizing committee at the City Hall, Thursday (2/7/2026).
Differing from previous events, this balance bike competition will feature a creative concept themed "Cosplay Carnival". The Chairperson of SCR Kids Pushbike Batu City, Ifan Susanto, explained that this fusion of sport and carnival elements is expected to create a more festive and memorable experience for the young cyclists involved.
Heli Suyanto expressed his appreciation for the community initiative in driving the local economy through sports activities. According to him, this national-scale event has a positive domino effect, attracting family tourists from various regions, while also reinforcing Batu City's position as a child-friendly tourist destination.
