JAKARTA — Universitas Nasional (UNAS), through the Independent Entrepreneurship Technical Service Unit (UPT WM), successfully held the prestigious UNAS Entrepreneur Exhibition 2026. Carrying the theme "From Prototype to Market: Empowering Student Innovation for Sustainable Business", the exhibition, which took place on July 22–23, 2026, in the UNAS Hall, served as a stage for students to showcase innovative products ready to compete in the industrial market.
The Coordinator of the Entrepreneurship General Course (MKU), Dr. Suadi Sapta Putra, M.SiM., emphasized the critical role of higher education in fostering an adaptive entrepreneurial spirit. According to him, this exhibition is not merely a final assignment, but a concrete bridge connecting academic theory in the classroom with real business practices in the field to produce high economic value products.
Meanwhile, the Head of UPT Wirausaha Mandiri UNAS, Dr. Ir. Farida, M.M., explained that this year's exhibition featured more than 100 student prototypes. All innovations were classified into six main categories: food and beverage (Food and Beverage), cultivation, services, manufacturing, creative industries, and digital business. The diversity of these works demonstrates the students' readiness to design creative solutions to market challenges.
Beyond showcasing products, this event was also enlivened by various educational agendas, such as an Entrepreneurship Seminar and a Financial Literacy Talkshow. Present as a speaker, the Director of PT Tridaya Dimensi Indonesia, Yudhika Permanayadi, shared tactical strategies for facing the challenges of the industrial world. Additionally, representatives from Bank Raya provided guidance on the importance of digital financial management for startup pioneers.
Through this initiative, UNAS is committed to strengthening the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus environment by fostering closer collaboration between the academic sector and industry players. It is hoped that UNAS graduates will not only be job seekers but will also be able to create sustainable new jobs and contribute positively to the national economy.
