Tangerang City now has a new destination for sports and healthy lifestyle enthusiasts. Metropolis Town Square officially opened the Metropolis Padel Court facility located on the 3rd Floor of the shopping center on Saturday (1/8/2026). The presence of this sports facility is designed to combine physical activity, recreation, and social interaction in one modern area.
The facility, which stands on an area of more than 2,000 square meters, provides four premium indoor padel courts of international standard. With high-quality infrastructure, this area guarantees safety and comfort for players of all skill levels, from beginners to professional athletes.
Director of Metropolis Town Square Mall, Ferdinand Narayana, explained that the presence of this new facility is a form of management's commitment to providing public spaces that support an active and positive lifestyle. He is optimistic that the sport of padel, which is growing rapidly in the country, can become a gathering place for communities, families, and corporate circles in Tangerang.
Metropolis Padel Court operates daily from 06:00 to 00:00 WIB. For ease of access, the court booking system can be done online through the AYO application. To enliven the opening period throughout August 2026, the management is presenting the MERDEKA Promo program, which provides a bonus of one tube of padel balls for every reservation with a minimum duration of two hours.
The inauguration ceremony itself was festive, featuring local cultural art performances such as the Jaipong "Bajidor Kahot" dance and a Lion Dance (Barongsai) attraction. In addition to the main courts, this sports complex is equipped with a welcoming lobby and a spacious social room. In the future, various additional supporting facilities will continue to be developed to provide a complete family recreation experience.
