The padel trend, which is currently popular among the public, is now being used as a vehicle for humanitarian action. Through a collaboration between ZIS Indosat and Zahin Community, an event titled "Padel Competition Humanity for All" was successfully held at Monarch Padel Pejaten, South Jakarta, on Saturday (25/7/2026). This event combined the excitement of sports with a social mission of fundraising.
All donations collected from this charity event will be channeled to various important humanitarian programs. These include building permanent housing for natural disaster victims in Aceh, providing educational scholarships for orphans and underprivileged children in the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) regions, as well as constructing decent housing for the elderly.
A number of national celebrities also enlivened the competition, such as Rezky Aditya, Citra Kirana, Revalina S Temat, Risty Tagor, Ricky Harun, Fadi Iskandar, and dr. Sisca Khair. Their presence was not only to compete on the court but also to participate in an auction of personal items, the proceeds of which were donated entirely to the social program.
CEO of ZIS Indosat, Wakhid Efendi, explained that this sports-themed charity activity is part of the organization's annual program. According to him, the choice of padel this year was based on its rising popularity among various segments of society. The involvement of public figures was deemed successful in multiplying the spirit of giving during this post-disaster recovery and educational assistance momentum.
Deep appreciation was expressed by the Founder of Zahin Community, Fina Mairita, who praised the sincerity of the celebrities in supporting this event. Meanwhile, actress Risty Tagor expressed her joy in participating. For her, the essence of this tournament is not just about chasing victory on the court, but a valuable opportunity to maintain fitness while making a real contribution to those in need.
