Bali has reaffirmed its role on the global economic map by hosting the Global Hindu Business Conference (GHBC) 2026. Carrying the grand theme "Towards Dharmanomics: Designing the Future", this event aims to integrate the principles of ethics, sustainability, and mutual prosperity into the international business ecosystem.
Vice Chairman of the GHBC 2026 Committee, Dr. Ketut Jaman, emphasized that this conference is designed to go beyond a regular discussion forum. Its primary focus is to create strategic momentum for business actors to build concrete partnerships, investment innovations, and cross-border collaborations based on dharma values.
The three-day series of activities includes sharing sessions by experts, panel discussions, and a *business matching* agenda that facilitates direct transactions. As a form of support for human resource development, the committee is also providing free participation access for 100 selected Hindu students to network directly with foreign investors and business actors.
The economic impact of this event is projected to be significant for Bali. The presence of delegates from various countries is believed to stimulate the MICE industry, hospitality, transportation, and the empowerment of local MSMEs and creative economy sectors. The conference is the result of synergy between several Hindu higher education institutions and entrepreneurial organizations, including UNHI Denpasar, UHN I Gusti Bagus Sugriwa, as well as GHEN and Prajaniti Hindu Indonesia.
