Google Cloud has officially introduced the Gemini Enterprise platform, specifically designed to meet the needs of the business sector. This step was taken in response to the growing corporate need for the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technology, accompanied by guarantees of cybersecurity and high-level data sovereignty.
Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, Karim Siregar, explained that the integration of AI in business operations must deliver a tangible impact. Through Gemini Enterprise, Google Cloud aims to facilitate business players in optimizing their performance through three main pillars: performance speed, a reliably integrated security system, and the realization of concrete business value.
Regarding privacy, Vice President of Customer Engineering for Google Cloud Asia Pacific, Moe Abdula, reaffirmed the company's commitment to customer data sovereignty. Google guarantees that all sensitive client data, from both the private and government sectors, will not be used as training material for Google's public AI models.
In addition to data protection, Gemini Enterprise is also equipped with instant cyber threat mitigation capabilities. Given the increasingly sophisticated cybercrime tactics that leverage AI, Google Cloud uses similar technology to proactively scan for system vulnerabilities. The collaboration of security systems like Wiz and Security Command Center allows this platform to prioritize the most crucial threats for immediate resolution.
