An academic from the Indonesian University of Science and Technology (USTI), Junadhi, M.Kom., has successfully created a new breakthrough in educational technology through an innovation named EduStoryGen. This artificial intelligence (AI)-based platform is designed to simplify the creation of children's story content equipped with synchronized visual illustrations, making it an innovative solution for educators and parents.

This development project is the core of Junadhi's doctoral dissertation research at UPI YPTK Padang. The innovation received widespread recognition after being supported by a research grant from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, and was successfully published in the reputable Scopus Q2 international journal, International Journal of Intelligent Engineering and Systems.

The main advantage of EduStoryGen lies in the integration of Natural Language Processing technology and an AI-based image generator system. With this multimodal technology, users can compose educational story narratives while simultaneously generating relevant visuals. The system is projected to become a tool to strengthen literacy culture, character development, and early childhood creativity through adaptive digital media.

To ensure substantive and linguistic quality, the development of EduStoryGen involved a strategic collaboration with the Riau Province Language Center as a validation partner. This step was taken so that the narratives generated by the system are not only technologically advanced but also possess good literary value and comply with national education standards.

Junadhi stated that his vision is to transform the way learning materials are presented to make them more engaging and interactive. Moving forward, he is committed to continuously refining the platform's interaction and personalization features so it can be widely implemented, strengthening the digital ecosystem in Indonesia's education sector.
