China's Ministry of Emergency Management deployed two giant Wing Loong-type drones to restore communication networks in the isolated Hengzhou region. These high-endurance drones are capable of establishing a public cellular signal over an area of 50 square kilometers, allowing hundreds of trapped residents to reconnect with the outside world and access emergency communication networks covering up to 15,000 square kilometers.
