The Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) of the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, has finally issued an official statement regarding the public scrutiny directed at him in recent days. This clarification was delivered directly at the Attorney General's Office Building in Jakarta, in response to reports of a police search conducted at a residence in Sentul, Bogor Regency, as well as the de’Clan Cafe in the Cipete area, South Jakarta.
Febrie admitted that the house located in Sentul is indeed his property asset. He emphasized that the acquisition process of the asset was carried out transparently and has a legal track record that can be accounted for under the law. Regarding the discovery of cash and valuables at the location, he assured that these assets have clear origins and legitimate owners.
On the other hand, Febrie firmly denied speculations linking him to the ownership or management of the de’Clan Cafe business in Cipete. According to him, the narrative circulating on social media regarding his involvement in the cafe's operations is false and groundless.
In his statement, Febrie emphasized his commitment to cooperate with the ongoing legal process. He stated that any clarification regarding the assets and related activities will be conveyed through the appropriate channels, in order to maintain the objectivity of the case handling currently being conducted by the authorities.
