In preparation for the Madrasah Student Orientation Period (MATAMUDA), scheduled to take place from July 13 to 16, 2026, the committee at MTsN 4 Batang Hari is currently undergoing intensive preparations. These efforts aim to ensure that the welcoming event for new students runs effectively and delivers a positive impact on the participants.
As a strategic move, the madrasah has partnered with the Penerokan Community Health Center (UPTD Puskesmas Penerokan) to serve as the main resource speakers for the event series. The field coordinator confirmed that coordination is progressing smoothly after delivering an official invitation to the health center, ensuring that the presented material aligns with the current needs of teenagers.
This year's MATAMUDA curriculum focuses on crucial issues such as the dangers of smoking, the negative impacts of drug abuse, and the mitigation of juvenile delinquency. In addition, students will be introduced to the Free Health Checkup Program (CKG) and the use of the digital health application, SATUSEHAT Mobile, to boost early health literacy.
The Principal of MTsN 4 Batang Hari, M. Husni Thamrin, expressed appreciation for the committee's dedication in establishing inter-agency synergy. He noted that involving healthcare professionals in student orientation is a crucial preventive step toward fostering healthy and responsible student character.
It is hoped that this synergy will provide a strong foundation for new students to adapt to the educational environment while equipping them with an awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
