The Indonesian entertainment scene is once again shrouded in grief. Legendary comedian Simson Rarameha Ngadang, popularly known by his stage name Temon, passed away on Sunday (12/7/2026) morning at around 08:42 WIB. The departure of the 59-year-old comedian leaves behind deep sorrow for the Indonesian comedy industry.

This sad news first circulated via text messages among journalists before finally being officially confirmed by the deceased's family and close relatives. Although the exact cause of death has not been formally released, the family revealed that the late comedian had a medical history of high blood pressure.

Before becoming widely known on the small screen, Temon pioneered his career in radio broadcasting. His name later skyrocketed on the national stage thanks to his witty acting in the popular sitcom "Abdel dan Temon Bukan Superstar". His brilliant collaboration with Abdel Achrian successfully spawned one of the most iconic comedy duos that left a lasting impression on the public.

Throughout his life, the friendly comedian was not only active in television programs but also expanded his wings to feature films and released a music work titled "Raja Disko".
