The banking sector in Indonesia is increasingly aggressive in integrating digital ecosystems to strengthen the corporate or wholesale segment. This step is taken in line with the positive growth trend of corporate loans, which reached 15.51% year-on-year (YoY) as of April 2026, according to data released by the Financial Services Authority (OJK).

PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) recorded significant progress through its Bale Korpora platform. As of May 2026, the number of users of this platform exceeded 25,000 companies, with a total transaction volume reaching IDR 153 trillion. BTN's Director of Corporate Banking, Helmy Afrisa Nugroho, stated that this platform is not just a transaction tool, but a strategic instrument to collect cheap funds (CASA) that help the company keep its cost of funds competitive.

Going forward, BTN targets acquiring up to 30,000 users by expanding its reach into strategic sectors, particularly those related to the property industry. The company also plans to transform Bale Korpora into a one-stop wholesale banking platform covering trade finance, supply chain financing, and treasury transactions.

A similar step was taken by PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BSI) through its BEWIZE platform. Carrying the single sign on concept, BSI recorded user growth of 34% year-on-year, reaching 47,000 entities. Similar optimism colors BSI's performance, where the strengthening of information technology infrastructure is projected to be the main driver in achieving the target of 40 million customers in the next few years.
