The Viet Hung Ward Government is committed to expanding access to healthcare services for its residents through a comprehensive routine check-up program. This initiative not only targets the general public but also pays special attention to the elderly, people with disabilities, and residents with limited mobility, who will receive door-to-door services directly at their homes.
The Director of the Viet Hung Ward Health Post, Do Thi Thu Ha, explained that her team will collaborate with various specialist hospitals at the city level. This collaboration aims to provide deeper screening services and strengthen the capacity of the Central Multispecialty Clinic to optimally serve community needs at the grassroots level.
The Vice Chairperson of the Viet Hung Ward People's Committee, Nguyen Thanh Thuy, emphasized that this program is part of the national strategy to build electronic medical records. This digitization step is expected to facilitate lifelong monitoring of residents' health, enable early detection of disease risks, and reduce treatment costs through a more effective preventive approach.
The success of this program will involve cross-sector collaboration including neighborhood apparatuses, the business sector, and social organizations. Regional leaders emphasized the importance of data accuracy in registering residents to ensure no resident is missed, so that the benefits of these healthcare services can be felt equally by the entire community without exception.
