The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) has taken a strategic step by initiating the formation of The Lancet Regional Health – Western Pacific Commission. This collaboration, which involves various national and international stakeholders, aims to design a roadmap for the transformation of Indonesia's health system in anticipation of the Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.

The commission is mandated to produce comprehensive, evidence-based recommendations. The main areas of focus will include strengthening the resilience of the health system, integrating medical technology innovations, and fostering more dynamic cross-sector collaboration.

This step represents the government's proactive response to the evolving dynamics of global health challenges. Through cross-border synergy, the Ministry of Health is optimistic about creating a health system architecture that is more adaptive, inclusive, and capable of ensuring access to excellent services for all citizens in the future.
